 It was SRO at 1871 when New Leaders Chicago presented a "Broke" book forum. Authors Hilary Denk, Amara Enyia, Jonathan Peck, Dick Simpson and Tom Tresser brought the civic knowledge and passion. CivicLab and NLC Chicago will be cooking up more civic events in the near future!

"Chicago is Not Broke" is a book that offers solutions and knowledge about the financial state of Chicago. I appreciate this book and its authors because it provides a progressive and responsible path forward. This just proves that politics ruin an entire city. The people behind this magnificent work are brave enough to post this in public.
